A Sad Day in Hancock County

This fine looking Pratt Through bridge (ca 1900) is on CR 241 over the Blanchard River in Hancock County at the entrance to the Riverbend Recreational area. Reportedly it is soon to be demolished and replaced by a (new) Covered Bridge! It's hard to imagine how this misguided act can be justified by anyone who appreciates historic bridges.
