The Delaware County Engineer's Office is nearing completion of the engineering plans on the Orange Road Bridge project located just north of Powell, Ohio. County Engineer Chris Bauserman and the project team will be hosting an open house at the Liberty Township Hall in Powell, Ohio from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 29 to share more information about the project.
You will have an opportunity to talk one-on-one with project engineers and officials from the Delaware County Engineer's Office and share your suggestions on the project.
The event will provide information on the proposed bridge type and will give you an opportunity to comment on aesthetic treatments. Up-to-date general information about the project will be disseminated. Forward your questions to info@orangeroadbridge.org
Notes from the meeting 11/29/07
It seems that the preferred plan is to build a 2-span continuous deck girder bridge slightly to the north of the present bridge. The historic bridge is to be removed. Complete information is available here.
